1984 Evinrude 35 E-Start

Completely rebuilt Evinrude 35 e-start. 1984 block, rebuilt 1983 gearcase, cowl and exhaust housing are from 1979. The 1980-83 gearcase is the fastest of the 1976-2001 35 hp OMC models. The 1976-79 gearcases were not streamlined, had high drag. In 1984 the gear ratio was reduced to less than 2:1, also a minus for top performance.

Cylinders were bored +.020" over, new Wiseco pistons and rings were installed. New rod bearings, new seals and gaskets. New spark plugs, relatively new powerpack and coils. Carburetor was cleaned, new fuel pump, new fuel and recirculation hoses were installed. New upper and lower shock mounts. New waterpump kit, new driveshaft and propshaft seals, new OMC gear oil. New starter solenoid. Motor comes complete with prop, control box, cables and wiring harness. A 6 pack of Evinrude oil is included in the price. Motor is guaranteed to perform as the best 35s should, but must first be broken in for an hour. Breakin instructions are included. Labor is guaranteed for a year. $2450.
